After your booking enquiry, one of our representatives will contact you to confirm yacht availability and trip timings. Q: Will towels be provided?
A: Towels will not be provided. If you are planning to go swimming during your trip, please make sure to bring your own.
Q: Where can I park?
A: For our yachts located near Pier 7, the most convenient location to park is at Marina Mall. For our yachts in the East Marina, paid parking in the Marina Walk premises is available. At the Westbay (Marina Mosque) as well as the former Dubai Marina Yacht Club, parking spaces are available on the street. Please note that on Fridays during prayer times, the Westbay area is extremely busy. Taxi is recommended.
Q: Are you able to provide things such as jet ski or inflatables during the yacht trip?
A: We are able to accommodate most wishes. Please make sure to communicate any special requests you might have during your booking, and we will do our best to make it happen!
Q: I want to plan a yacht event – are you able to help?
A: For any yacht events, we are more than happy to organize it for you. Our division Delice Events will be able to provide catering, beverages, sound systems, live entertainment, lighting, decorations or any other special requests you may have.
Q: Can I bring alcohol onboard?
A: You may bring your own alcohol onboard, please make sure that you are allowed to do so as per the regulations of Dubai. It is the responsibility of the captain to ensure that passengers do not compromise the safety of themselves or the charter or the yacht due to excessive alcohol consumption. Yachts are subject to occasional coastguard checks and you should be aware of this. In addition to the above, the marinas in Dubai have strict regulations regarding disembarking charter clients and will not tolerate loud or unruly behaviour on their premises. Also, no anti-social behaviour will be accepted and if found, will be reported to the Police. Anti-social behaviour will result in the early removal from the yacht without any refund.
Q: Which destinations do you cruise to?
A: Depending on the length of your charter, we will visit Dubai’s most iconic landmarks such as the Burj al Arab, The Palm, Atlantis and Dubai Marina.
Q: Do I need to take an ID with me onboard?
A: Yes, each passenger is required to carry a valid ID, such as passport or Emirates ID (driving license or similar is NOT enough) due to regulations of the UAE Coast Guard. Passengers not carrying their ID will not be permitted onboard. In such case this will be regarded as no-show.
Q: What if I left some property onboard after my trip?
A: If you discover that you have left any personal items on the yacht, please give us a call immediately, and we will contact the crew to inform them. We cannot be held responsible for any items left on board once the charter has ended. Please collect your lost property within 24 hours.
Q: What if the weather conditions are bad on the time of my trip?
A: In the event of a forecast for bad weather conditions prior to departure, and when there is no permission for ‘lagoon only’ cruising, we will re-schedule the charter to an alternative date within 4 weeks. Refunds will not be made for bad weather as this is outside of our control. If rough weather should occur during the charter, the captain will make the decision on whether there is a necessity to alter the planned route, or to return to the marina for safety reasons.
Q: What if I have to cancel my confirmed charter booking?
A: If you cancel your booking you must advise us in writing and the cancellation will be effective from the date your cancellation is received. If you have notified us by email, please follow up to check that we have received it and we will arrange a new date and time with you for the alternative trip. As the 50% down payment to book a yacht is non-refundable, it shall be at Delice Charter’s discretion to refund the payment. No-show will be charged at 100%.
